Many of the candidates are activists and charges like rioting etc were slapped against them during agitations. If you want to know how different they were from other parties, for that you need to analyze these protests by how much violent they were, for how long they were carried out ,what were the goals & results and who were the victims?. Pending charges of murder and attempt to murder if framed must be seriously condemned. There are other minor cases as well such as property disputes.

These are the 5 guys we should not be voting for, not at-least till #AAP conducts their investigations and comes out clean on these candidates and their nominations. 5 or 6 out of 86 translates to about 6-7% of the total candidates, which is far less a percentage when you compare it with our dear ‪#‎Congress‬and ‪#‎BJP‬. And I'm sure this percentage will drop even further, and hopefully to zero in the coming days once AAP's top brass kicks into action.
But to be fair to AAP, we must give them few days to respond to this. As mentioned, their track record speaks for itself, they don't lay down their guard when it comes to fielding honest and clean candidates. Few cases in which AAP has not disappointed us in the past:

To understand why this has happened, it's important to understand what #AAP is trying to do here. They are in a hurry, a lot of hurry, and looking at the current state of affairs in our country, many of us don't really blame them for showing all the haste. Now till December, most of their concentration was focused on #Delhi, which left them with around 4 months to setup a massive national campaign from scratch.
What ahead was a massive task of expanding nationally, not only to a state or district level, but to the village level. They had to organise donation drives, recruit people, assign responsibilities, brainstorm policies, attend to the media and answer all the attacks by #Congress and #BJP. It was never going to be an easy task, and to expect it was going to be executed flawlessly at all levels was probably expecting a bit too much. They had announced earlier they will be contesting on 300+ seats and their total tally already stands at 426 as of now! Now imagine the number of people who must be working behind the scenes to make this possible, all this while the top leadership of AAP was busy reaching out to people through road shows and rallies.

If we look at the gear in which AAP is in, we'll realize that #ArvindKejriwal and AAP's national executive members would not have elected all their #LokSabha candidates themselves, in fact a lot of them would have been elected by teams taking decisions at the state or district levels, and in plain simple words, they screwed up! I don't blame them for it as long as they are willing to correct their mistakes.

Another important thing to note here is, this list by #ADR has come out and within 36 hours AAP has already cancelled the nomination of these 2 candidates (this was announced by #ManishSisodia on the news a while back):

They are quite responsive. I hope they will soon publish their investigations. If anyone feels that this party is fielding a criminal candidate, please shoot a mail to feedback@aamaadmiparty.org any number of times. Also more important is that you vote for the right candidate irrespective of the party. If you find that the #AAP candidate from your constituency has a criminal background and is intentionally involved in such activities, simply do not vote for him.

one of my friend also Checked the serious crime charges against all of the 10 AAP candidates. Apart from rape, murder and dacoity if we include 'extortion by putting a person in fear of death or grievous hurt' too in the crimes to be considered, then top four from the following list are not worth voting. Almost all of them are social activists and how the system easily charges them with 'criminal intimidation' etc. is understandable and that's why I am considering only top four whose candidature should be withdrawn.
